Description
The Compact Retractable Gateway is comprised of two cabinets, and is suitable for the control of secure site access. Controls are effected in both directions of passage. Once a user has passed through, the panels are fully retracted into the cabinet. A set of two gateways is comprised of two end cabinets and one centre cabinet.
Operation
Once authorization has been cleared, the glass panels are fully retracted into the cabinet to clear the access way. A shape recognition device (using scanner cells) allows the user to be monitored as they pass through the barrier, and prevents the passage of a second person. The gateway operates in normally closed mode. All entry and exit configurations are possible : unrestricted, controlled, prohibited.

- Cabinet and covers : AISI 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish using 220 grain
- E24 steel pedestal with cataphoretic protection or black powder coating
- Panels of 12 mm tempered glass with rubber protection
- All internal components are corrosion protected

Safety
Passenger safety :
Should a person become trapped, safety software will allow the panels to open.
Anti-panic system :
In case of a loss of power, the panels will retract (by gravity) to clear the access way.
Additional function :
A mechanical locking system (unpowered) allows the operator to position the panels in the open or closed position.
