Description

The Butterfly Gateway is comprised of two cabinets, and is suitable for the control of secure site access and for public transport applications. Anti-fraud controls are effected in both directions of passage. A set of two gateways is comprised of two end cabinets and one centre cabinet.

Operation

Once authorization has been cleared, the panels are tilted into the cabinet to clear the access way.
A shape recognition device (using scanner cells) allows the user to be monitored as they pass through the barrier, and prevents the passage of a second person. The gateway operates in normally closed mode. All entry and exit configurations are possible : unrestricted, controlled,  prohibited.

Materials

  • Cabinet and covers : AISI 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish using 220 grain
  • Panels : black polyurethane foam
  • All internal components are corrosion protected
  • Light pictograms : green arrow and red cross

Safety

Passenger safety :
- Should a person become trapped, (parameterizable) safety software will allow the panels to open.
Anti-panic system :
- In case of a loss of power, the panels will retract to clear the access way (by return spring).
